'Til now, our exposure to ice has been more or less limited to The Goat run on windy, high traffic day. Enter the new Ice Haus Arena and we're starting to develop a whole new appreciation for something that was basically that-which-should-not-be-named, previously.
Our new arena will be home to hockey, figure skating and curling teams and will offer learn-to and advanced clinics across all three disciplines. And since kids aren't often sent to practice alone we've made the rink as comfortable as possible for hockey-parents and other spectators by including a heated Snack Bar and Cafe (licensed bar) with cushy seating and views of the rink. The arena also includes a Rental and Repair shop, Pro Shop, and four locker rooms and ref rooms. Here are some stats on the rink, specifically:
For curling, we have the option of pebbling up to 2 lanes and have all the equipment you'd need available on site. While curling will eventually become part of our weekly schedule, for now it'll only be available when ice time is rented specifically for that reason.
